Disabling VAC (Valve Anti Cheat)

There are a few reasons why you might want to disable VAC:

• Experiment with Hacks
• Play with people who have been VAC-banned

Not very good reasons however, hacks should not be used as they make gameplay unfair (unless you're all trying to out-hack each other) and destablise servers. If your friends have been VAC banned however, they can only play on servers that don't have VAC enabled. By default, VAC is enabled on servers, the steps to remove it are however, simple. Just add -insecure to the command line.

That's it! Now, restart your server (stop then start it) and it will no longer be VAC secured. We discourage you from using hacks on your server, as it can affect stability and performance, for more people than just you and potentially get you banned by VAC or other ban plugins at a later date on another (or your own, depending setup) server. Ensure you keep within the Terms of Service!
